MUMBAI, Aug. 6 (Xinhua) -- Heavy rains lashed Mumbai city leading to water-logging and over-flowing of internal rivers within the city on Tuesday.

Vehicular traffic on the city's western express highway, which links the city between North and South, was badly affected after a massive landslide occurred at Kandivali in North Mumbai due to overnight rains.
