Cape Town - Spinner Tabraiz Shamsi has expressed his delight at his inclusion in the Proteas' 2019 Cricket World Cup squad for the tournament to be played in England and Wales, starting on May 30.
Shamsi joined 14 other players on Thursday in being backed to win the tournament for the very first time for South Africa.
Shamsi and Imran Tahir were the only two genuine spinners named in the squad.
Shamsi took to Twitter moments after the announcement, writing:
