Suspects arrested in Bali tourist murder
Bombay News.Net Wednesday 30th December, 2009
Police in Bali have arrested two men over the murder of a Japanese woman.
The two men are both Indonesians who have not been named.
The naked body of tourist, Hiromi Shimada, 41, was found in a rented house near the popular tourist beach of Kuta on Saturday.
She had died from blood loss after having been stabbed repeatedly in the stomach.
Police in Bali have said while both suspects have denied killing the woman, one has blamed the other for the murder.
In September, the partially decomposed body of another Japanese tourist, 33-year-old Rika Sano, was found in the same area.
Another Indonesian man has been arrested in connection with the Sano killing.
