Unmanned US drone kills school children
Bombay News.Net Monday 8th September, 2008
Seven guided missiles have been fired from US spy planes in North Waziristan, killing three persons and injuring 15 others, including women and children.
According to Pakistani sources, the guided missiles targeted a madrassa, or Muslim school, and the house of Afghan commander Jalaluddin Haqqani.
A drone operated by US-led forces in Afghanistan allegedly fired six to seven guided missiles at the madrassa in north Waziristan.
It then shot at the house of Commander Haqqani, who first surfaced as a guerilla during the war against Russia in Afghanistan.
North and South Waziristan tribal regions are considered strongholds of the Pakistani Taliban.
Pakistan's tribal belt has witnessed a sharp increase in attacks by drones operated by the US-led coalition forces in Afghanistan over the past week.
More than 40 people have died in these attacks.

Eye for an Eye
The so called terrorists hide behind the innocent so they can gain new recruits when innocent people get caught up in this kind of violence. It’s so called terrorism both ways. That missile strike would of struck terror & fear in the hearts and minds of those innocent people caught up in the strike. The amount of money spent on these wars has been a waste to the masses and has benefitted those major arm company shareholders. The approach to this terrorist crises is the clever work of a few wealthy people with connections in the arms industry & government. If you use the ammo, then the government will need more. If you create more enermies, there will be a need for a greater warmachine. It would of costa lot less in money and lives to have addressed the issue after September 11th in a civilised manor. Those who dileberately advocated this war to line their pockets should be brought to justice. A war should always be the last option. I don’t think that ordinary people are that gullable. Clean up your act America.

Terrorists have killed many little children. America has killed many little children. Both groups rank very low in my opinion. Terrorists and the US army are the same. Both sides need to start peace talks.

We don’t hear about the terrorists killing innocent people.... just when it is not a terrorist.
Why do you think these terrorist live next to schools and other places that provide an innocent shield against attack.

Both sides are equally wrong the spy plane especially and the terrorist hiding cowardly behind their children. I strongly condemn the merciless adult!

This is an example of news reporting that leaves an anti-American tone, especially to the unsophisticated reader. Such a report should include the FACT that our enemy soldiers deliberately place themselves near civilians to cause this type of reporting. Besides, where is the outrage over LIFE taken, especially children’s lives — -born and unborn — in our Western culture?

All these schools ,children and mosques should only exist miles from where any civilian populations live in the towns and cities . otherwise these “mistakes” will continue to occur .

Killing children.
My experiencing in Vietnam War and Korean War. Something happen like this means American will lost this war and strike all villages, towns and any object in this country, then we’ll go home and claim mental services and dropped our soldiers on the street and become homeless.

Hmmmm....it's the word UNMANNED that bothers me.
Let’s get to the meat of this article. If the drone was UNMANNED, then who was doing the shooting. Did it just point it’s self in the direction of that school and start shooting??? And if the thing was unmanned then where WERE all the men while this thing was running a muck??? Obviously the writer is implying that there was some kind of malfunction, so what is being done to fix this problem, or are we waiting for it to take out a few more people? Katrina should prove that sometimes the people who have the power to make things happen take they’re time to move on things that need fixin'. Lot’s of innocents died then too, and time was taken, feet were drug and the problem was damn near ignored before anybody even lifted a finger to fix it.
