Teenager killed, three injured in mortar shell explosion

A 15-year-old girl was killed and three of her siblings were injured in an accidental mortar shell explosion in Surankote area of Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said Monday.
The explosion took place Sunday evening when the children were playing with a mortar shell they found in Chitta Bitti village, about 230 km north of here.
Tbiiy, 15, died on the spot, while her siblings Sonu, 12, Imran, 9, and Asif, 7, were critically injured. They were rushed to the Government Medical College Hospital here for treatment.
