Paes-Robredo enter Hamburg Masters second round

Leander Paes and his new partner Tommy Robredo of Spain had to stretch themselves to the extreme to enter the second round of the doubles event in the Hamburg Masters tennis tournament in Germany.
Unseeded Paes and Robredo defeated the Czech-Russian duo of Tomas Berdych and Dmitry Tursunov 6-1, 5-7, 10-8 in the super tie-breaker Monday night.
The Indo-Spaniard pair will next face the third seed Israeli combination of Jonathan Erlich and Andy Ram who got a first round bye.
The other Indian in the fray Mahesh Bhupathi and Mark Knowles of Bahamas, seeded fourth in the tournament, too were handed a bye in the opening round and will start their campaign against the unseeded American pair of James Blake and Mardy Fish.
