Man injured in attack by wild elephant

A man was injured after a wild elephant attacked him in Kerala Thursday morning.
Forest officials identified the victim as Muhammed, reportedly a worker of a farm owned by the Plantation Corp of Kerala at Munderi, around 40 km from here.
Muhammed suffered injuries on his head. He was taken to the Kozhikode Medical College Hospital, an official at the forest range office said.
This is the second such case after April 29 when a 10-month-old infant in a tribal settlement near Munderi died in an attack by wild elephants. Email this story to a friend
