India, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan in business link-up
Bombay News.Net Tuesday 8th April, 2008
India and Kazakhstan have pledged to boost their cooperation in the hydrocarbons sector, food production, IT and education.
The hydrocarbons deal expected to enhance New Delhi's efforts to achieve energy security.
The agreement came only two days after India and Turkmenistan agreed to a collaboration between the two countries in the energy sector.
Representatives signed an agreement allowing India's companies to work with local firms on several projects that are being planned by oil-rich Turkmenistan.
The projects are in oil exploration and the setting up of gas pipelines.
